COSTA MESA,CA—Local real estate firm Weichman Associates-Realtors® hosted its 5th annual Polar Express family event on Saturday, December 3rd at 2:00 p.m. This year’s event, based on the popular family movie The Polar Express, was conceived as a way for Weichman Realtors founders Larry
Weichman and Kurt Galitski to connect with their fellow Costa Mesa residents and say thank you for years of welcome support. Over 2000 attendees were riding the Polar Express to Santa’s Village where children got free pictures with Santa, decorated cookies and took part in writing letters to Santa. “This year’s event grew by more than 300 attendees, said Galitski, it was a huge success!
This year Weichman and Galitski joined forces with Costa Mesa Fire Department to gather toys and gifts for children of Costa Mesa who
would otherwise not receive a holiday gift, and raise awareness for the toy drive. In addition, Costa Mesa’s Firemen and trucks were on hand to collect boxes upon boxes of gifts brought in from the community, Costa Mesa Council Woman Wendy Leece and City CEO, Tom Hatch were among the many dignitaries to take part in this year’s event. Larry Weichman declared the event a great success and is already working towards planning next year’s event.

compassion for underprivileged kids in Costa Mesa. The Costa Mesa Fire Department – Letters to Santa toy drive ensures that these children get
something to smile about on Christmas day.” Galitski also added “Larry and I are also very honored to work alongside another organization we have long
admired, the Costa Mesa Fire department.”
Weichman and their staff hosted The Polar Express from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. at Goat Hill Junction- 2480 Placentia Avenue in Costa Mesa. They dressed in full Christmas costumes as elves, rein deer and characters true to the Polar Express movie. Past clients, friends and families were invited to the event to enjoy spending time with Santa Claus and his Elves.
