What would happen if our entire community came together to show some love for Costa Mesa?
Love Costa Mesa is an annual city-wide volunteer service day for those who live in Costa Mesa to show their love for their community. This year, Love Costa Mesa day will be taking place on May 18th.
The day will consist of music and family fun, free coffee and snacks, free lunch celebration, and free Love Costa Mesa t-shirts for volunteers. Registration begins at 7:30 AM that morning in the parking lot of Newport Mesa Church (located at 2599 Newport Blvd, Costa Mesa). Festivities will begin at 8:00 AM and volunteers will then be assigned to their project teams. You can also sponsor or donate to the program or submit a project suggestion on the website.
Love Costa Mesa’s goal is to reach 600 volunteers for 50 different projects throughout the city. As a longtime Costa Mesa resident, I’ve seen our community transform over that last couple decades and take pride in the fact that this is where I call home. We all love our community so let’s do our part to make it an even better place for our families!
